React without confusing interest with truth
Heat it up or Cool it down lets you express your interest in a story. Each account gets one vote, and that vote can be changed. A popular post is still a popular post: attention does not confirm an allegation, verify a theory, or replace a source.
See the story’s timeline
The original post is the beginning. A timeline puts later context and updates alongside it, so you can see how the conversation developed. An explanation or correction belongs with the story people are already following.
A fictional example: In our Palm House demo, fans notice an empty reunion chair. A wider image reveals another chair outside the crop. A producer later teases a bonus segment. Each development adds context; none turns speculation about a guest into a confirmed fact.
Follow the tea
Follow a story to keep it in your Following feed and return to its timeline. The current app preview supports following stories; push notifications are not active. We will describe notification options when they are available.
Bring something useful to the conversation
Post a story or add context when you have something to contribute. Submissions enter a review queue instead of publishing automatically. Reporting, blocking, and correction paths are part of the app’s approach to community participation.
Make yourself comfortable
Choose a light or dark appearance. This preference is available without a paid plan. The current app includes an optional Plus concept preview, but purchases and paid subscriptions are not active.
Try it when it’s ready
Rumorly is in development for adults 18 and older. It has not launched on the App Store or Google Play, and no release date has been announced. The website’s screenshots and interactive example use fictional stories.
